Introduction
As for any good scientific article you have to introduce what you're
going to talk about. In science we strive to make these introductions as
dry as possible. In fact, if Microsoft Word doesn't flag half my
sentences for being "passive" in tone, then something is probably wrong.
Although, here we are trying to reach a different audience, so this
blog will be scientific with humor (aka dry humor). Here we're aiming to
inform, closer to real-time, what we're working on and what that means
for you. Our team was awarded a grant from the Norwegian Research
Council for an emergency call for projects related to the COVID-19
pandemic. Our goals are to discover infectious doses and develop risk models for healthcare workers and the general public.
This blog is intended to be an open look into the entire scientific process. There will several team members writing for this blog and we will have some sort of bio about the team as well.
And the first few posts will be retrospective, what we in the business call "pre-award".
